The infrastructure within each program requires strategic partners to train passionate beginners, who are then responsible for their own group of trainees. These levels of support provide program accountability, depth, and opportunity for expansion throughout the village and beyond.
Per participant:
Tuition $400: Intensive training with certified instructors takes place for a minimum of 3 days and features an Impact Senegal strategic partner to walk alongside villagers as they learn skills-based ventures and entrepreneurial skills. Leadership and business topics include things like bookkeeping, budgeting, reporting, supply chain, and inventory management.
Transport/Accommodations $150: Thiès, the closest city, is a 2-hour drive from Ngonine, beginning in rutty sand with no gas stations, signage, or lights. Cars travel alongside horse carts and bicycles.
Supplies $50: This covers things like class supplies, project equipment, and tech needs for each course.
